Graduated with a PhD from Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Dr. Zhao obtained the American Orthopedic Fellow Physician Qualification Certificate and Microscopic Technology Training Certificate and systematically studied the most advanced minimally invasive spinal surgery concepts and techniques in the United States from March 2013 to May 2014. He has undertaken 10 projects,including the Key Research and Development Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Subtopic), projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology Fund, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Health Innovative Talent Project, projects of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, etc. He has published over 20 papers in core journals both domestically and internationally as the first author or corresponding author. He has won the second prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology twice and the first prize of Zhejiang Medical and Health Science and Technology twice. He has obtained 4 national invention and utility model patents and participated in the translation of one classic professional work from abroad.
