After graduating from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2010 with an M.D., Dr. WANG Qinchuan obtained his doctorate in surgery at Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2013 with a Ph.D. During his Ph.D. studies, he went to City Of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center for joint Ph.D. training. Then he completed the residential training in general surgery. After that, he completed his post-doctorate training at MD Anderson Cancer Center during 2015-2017.

He has mainly engaged in clinical practice and scientific research of breast and thyroid tumors, and related teaching and research. He specializes in the comprehensive treatment of breast and thyroid tumors, including breast cancer, sarcoma, mastitis, and thyroid cancer, and benign tumors of breast and thyroid; surgical treatment for breast and thyroid tumors, including breast cancer, thyroid cancer, melanoma, benign breast and thyroid tumor, etc. He has been responsible for or participated in multiple national and provincial medical research projects and published dozens of papers in his field, which have been cited more than 800 times in the Web of Science.
