Dr. Sun graduated from Norman Bethune Medical University, and completed his Master's degree in the Medical College, Zhejiang University. He trained at Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Cancer Hospital as well as in the proton treatment center and radiation medicine department of Loma Linda University, USA. His research interests and expertise are the radiotherapy and concurrent radio-chemo-therapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, lung cancer, breast cancer, gastrointestinal tumors and the other malignancies, as well as comprehensive treatments of those cancers.
