Arriving by air at the Xiaoshan International Airport in Hangzhou:
The Xiaoshan International Airport is located some 27 kilometers from downtown Hangzhou. Aviation buses are available to take passengers from the airport to the city center for 20 RMB ($ 2.5 or £1.5). Buses run every 15-30 minutes from 0730 HRS to 2000 HRS. You can then take a taxi to the hospital for about 20RMB ($ 2.5 or £1.5). You can also take a taxi directly from the airport for around 100RMB ($12.5 or £6.7).
Arriving by air at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport:
The Shanghai Pudong International Airport is located on the south coast at the mouth of the Yangtze River, around 30 km away from central Shanghai. Many people fly into the Shanghai Pudong International Airport and travel from there to Hangzhou by bus or train.The newly opened magnetic train which can run as fast as 430km/h can take you from the airport in 7 minutes. The fare for the magnetic train is about 50 RMB ($ 6.5 or £3.3) to the terminal (Long Yang Road), at this station, there is a subway/tube/metro connection to central Shanghai.
By Train
A train from Shanghai is a rapid way to get to Hangzhou. There is a Bullet Train, which leaves from the Shanghai South Station every day. You will get to Hangzhou by this train in 1.5 hours for 44RMB($ 5.5 or £2.3). The train runs 10 times, roughly every 1.5 hours from 0715 HRS to 1912 HRS. To get to South Train Station you must take a low fare city bus (20RMB)from the Pudong airport.
By Aviation Bus
Aviation buses are available to take passengers from the Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Wu Ling Men Square, Hangzhou for about 100RMB($12.5 or £6.7). Buses run every 2 hours from 1330 to 1930 .Directions and a time table can be obtained conveniently at the arrival hall in the airport. You can also phone 021-68345743 for transportation information. If you want to come directly to Hangzhou from the Pudong Airport, this will be the most economical and easiest way.
